Mileage Rates

For 2010 the standard mileage rate is 50 cents per mile.
Medical mileage rate is 16.5 cents per mile.
Charitable mileage rate is 14 cents per mile.

Energy Credit

Homeowners who add energy-efficient windows, furnaces and air conditioners can get a tax credit to cover 30 percent of the costs, up to a total of $1,500.
